The Central ministry has announced the BH Series Registration Marks for New private vehicle on 28th August 2021. No re-registration is required for transferring the vehicle from one state to another. BH Series Registration No. Plate will be available from 15th September 2021. Those Car/Vehicle owner who want to apply for Bharat Series (BH) no. registration can apply in offline & Online Mode.

Some state governments are purposely delaying BH registration.It is better if registration issued directly by Centre.

1) what happens to already existing vehicles? whether the 5 year old bikes can be sought for BH series?
2) whether a vehicle registered in one state be registered in another state? what are the procedure?
if a vehicle registered with BH series can be sold to any other person or during exchange of vehicles?
BH series is not yet implemented in Uttarakhand. Similarly, the real benefits of the BH series have not reached many states. So, MORTH, please speed up the process and follow up the progress.
